Luke has been teaching in these waters and shaping Gozo's freediving community for years — long before the centre carried its current name. So while Gozo Freedivers was renewed in 2026, the hands guiding you today have been shaped by countless dives.

Luke (the Alchemist) cooks up a story as well as he does a Spaghetti Frutti di Mare. Benji (the Everyman) is thoughtful and generous with his time, energy and terrible dad jokes.

We are a freediving and spearfishing centre in Gozo, built around calm water, good people and a deep respect for the sea. Relaxation happens naturally — on the road to the dive site, around the buoy, over dinner, in the quiet moment before a dive.

Building freediving in Malta since 2010.
We founded the Malta Freediving Club in 2010 as a volunteer organisation, and have been organising events and growing the community ever since. Luke is still its president today, with Benji involved too. It's one of the things that really sets us apart — we're part of the history and ongoing growth of freediving here, not just another place to take a course.
